Ingredients
5 slices bacon, chopped
1/2 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 (16 oz) cans navy beans, drained
1 1/2 cups pineapple tidbits, drained
3/4 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 cup water
2 Tbs soy sauce
1 Tbs Dijon mustard
2 Tbs light brown sugar
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. In a saucepan, add the bacon. Cook over medium heat until fat begins to render.
  2. Add the onions and garlic. Sauté until onions are soft and bacon is fully cooked.
  3. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Transfer to a baking dish. Cook, covered, for 45 minutes or until mixture is syrupy and heated thoroughly.
